Admissions & Fees
Applying for a place
Our Preparatory School is non-selective and one of the best prep schools in Hampshire. We invite you to meet the Head of the Prep Department and have a tour of the school before you apply.
There is a registration fee of £50. Following registration, parents are either offered a place or told their child is on the waiting list. When a place is offered, a deposit of £500 is required to secure it, refundable from the first term’s fees.
For an appointment to visit the school, please contact the Headmasters PA Mrs Pigott on 01420 82070, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Continuation into the Senior School
Girls in Year 6 are automatically registered for the Senior School and will be invited at the beginning of November to apply to sit the entrance examination for entry the following September. Entry is not automatic.
Scholarships are available for able and talented children joining at Year 3, 4 or 5 who would benefit from the opportunities on offer at Alton Convent School. To be successful a child needs to demonstrate potential in academic ability. This is a means-tested award and parents will be asked to fill in a financial assessment form and send in supporting information.
