KS1 visit to Children's Action Farm

| |

On Friday 29th June, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 went to "Children's Action Farm". First we got on the bus and put our bags on the shleves above our heads, strapped ourselves in and off we went. It took one whole hour to get there! When we got there it poured with rain!

Next we looked at the animals. Then we went on the bouncy castle. I bounced so high I did not dare look down. Then we climbed on some hay bales. It was like a giant staircase. They were very tricky to climb. We went to see some cows which were kept inside. One of the cows was feeling grumpy so he wacked James and Matthew with his tail.

Miller's Ark visit Lower Prep

| | |

On Wednesday Miller's Ark came to visit. We saw donkeys. They were cross because it thundered down with rain. We had to stand under a tree we were soaked. Next we saw a pig called Branston. He was a kuni kuni pig. He was trained like a dog. He came and he sat and ate anything you gave to him. Our favourite bit was when a chicken stood on our heads.
