Our Faith
Religious Studies | Whole school

“The knowledge which the pupils acquire of the world and of life is seen in the light of faith.”
Sister Madeleine, our founder
The life of the school is rooted in the Catholic tradition with an emphasis on personal faith, tolerance, service, friendship and respect for others. Pupils of all faith backgrounds are welcomed and nurtured within the school’s community. The school chapel provides a place for quiet prayer and reflection.
Worship and prayer are integral to our daily activity. Religious Studies is studied by all pupils with GCSE taken in year 10.
Mass is celebrated regularly and annual retreats feature for all pupils from year 5, including the sixth form Easter pilgrimage to Lourdes with disabled children.
Pupils are actively involved in caring for others and fundraising for numerous charities, looking beyond themselves to the needs of the wider world.
