Year 3M led a wonderful assemby in the Chapel focussing on Remembrance. As well as re-enacting scenes from World War I and explaining about poppies and the work of the British Legion, they shared with KS2 some of their earliest memories

My memory was when I moved house. I felt sad because I had to leave my old friends behind and make new friends. When I got to Bisley I was amazed how well it was decorated on the inside and out when I went inside. I slipped my shoes off and ran to see all the rooms. We had to have extensions. We had to knock down the spare room and made it into Mum’s and Dad’s room and made my room very pretty.

I remember what I was outside with my cat Milly and she was chasing me round the garden! Then she wanted some food and went indoors to get some. She waved her poor on the food and it fell into her bowl but mostly round the kitchen. Then she started licking the floor, and didn’t look in her bowl once.
