Parents of current students not wishing their daughter to progress to the Sixth Form Centre are reminded that a full term’s notice of leaving should be given in writing to the Bursar by the first day of the Summer Term.
Scholarships
Alton Convent will offer scholarships and bursaries to both internal and external candidates for VI form courses commencing in September.
a) Major Academic Scholarships
Two major scholarships will be awarded with up to 50% of fees tenable for the full two years of a girl’s Advanced level courses within the Sixth Form.
b) Sixth Form Bursaries
A number of sixth form bursaries will be awarded for the full two years of a girl’s A level course subject to satisfactory attendance, attitude and performance in the LVI. Where possible these bursaries will reflect the full range of curriculum interests within the Sixth Form; Science, Humanities, Social Science and Creative and Performing Arts. These bursaries will be awarded subject to financial circumstances and on the basis of academic performance.
