The first match of the season against Frensham Heights and no one was fully fit. Unfortunately some key members of the team were at play rehearsals, so some very loyal year 9 pupils stepped in and saved the day. The match started well and a series of short corners led to the first goal - a brilliant corner taken and crossed in for Jessica Graham to convert into a goal. The girls continued to play well and the year 9 pupils made a huge contribution to the team. Half-time came and went and we were ready for a second goal. As Alton pushed up Katie  made a run down the wing, received the ball and made a fantastic cross to Rachel , who scored a tremendous goal, finishing off the move perfectly. Alton dominated the game and had great fun. The team work really paid off with a 2-0 win. A satisfying first game of the season. Man of the man was captain Natasha.
