A beautiful Saturday morning heralded the start of the Bronze expedition for nineteen of our Year 10 girls. Rucksacks brimming with tents and and food the girls set off from Alton Sports Centre for the 16 mile, overnight hike to Alresford.

The expedition took the girls through bluebell woods and across rapeseed filled fields. They successfully navigated their way to Upper Lanham Farm, Upper Wield where they pitched their tents for the night. Following a hearty cooked breakfast the girls continued on their way to Alresford where all arrived within their allotted time showing that they had acquired very good navigational skills. Congratulations to them all for a very successful expedition and for passing with flying colours!
