Prep co-curriculum
Extra-curricular | Prep

“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.”
William Butler Yeats
In any one year prep school pupils may find themselves immersed directly in Victorian school rooms, Roman villas, and French châteaux. Equally they may enter Egyptian tombs, feast with the Ancient Greeks and dance with the Tudors.
The co-curriculum is designed to prompt pupils to explore independently and together societies and cultures past and present, their artistic achievements, their military challenges, their day to day living.
Nor is this experience focussed solely on people and global issues. We do not shy away from challenging children in pushing their personal boundaries, whether at a camp fire and sleepover in the school grounds for year 3, or in outdoor pursuits for older children.
