“We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names. Some are more popular than others – but they all have to learn to live in the same box.”

Children in Early Years learn to socialise and make friends with their peers. Transitions are always tough whether from home to school, class to class, school to school. The school is welcoming at all stages and children quickly settle in, learn constructively and co-operate with each other.
An emphasis on learning to co-exist with others serves pupils well as they progress through the school and face the inevitable challenges of adolescence and beyond.
