Dear Parents,

Netball Tour 15^th - 19^th October 2007

I would like to remind you that the final payment £105.00 is due this Friday, 12^th October if you have not already paid.

Departure from school on Monday 15^th October is at 4.45am. Please ensure that you arrive no later than 4.30am to allow a prompt departure. Girls will need a packed lunch for the journey. A small amount of spending money can be brought with them as there will be opportunities to purchase drinks and souvenirs during their stay.

In an emergency please contact Mr Pluck at school during the day and his mobile during the evening and not the hotel.

We will be arriving back at school on Friday 19^th October at 7.45pm. If there is a significant change of arrival time you can call our new Trip Information Line on 01420 566966 on the evening of the 19^th. This is not an answering phone so please do not leave any messages as they will not be answered.

Unfortunately I am not able to accompany the girls on this trip but the tour leader will be Mrs Alcock and Miss O'Donnell along with Mrs Brooks and Miss Orbell.

I am sure that this new venture will be an exciting experience and help your daughter improve her netball skills greatly.

General

As girls will be carrying their own luggage please ensure the suitcase/holdall is not too big or heavy for them to lift.

Please note - No jewellery to be worn whilst playing and hair must be tied back

Non-Playing

Casual clothes for free time including one outfit suitable for a disco.

Waterproof jacket

The girls are representing the school at all times so please no bare midriffs, shorts, short skirts or excessive make-up.

Valuables

Cameras, ipods and mobile phones if taken will be the ultimate responsibility of the pupil and should be kept safe at all times. Should they be lost they will not be covered by our insurance policy.
