Scholarships and Bursaries

We are able to offer some academic scholarships for outstanding performance in the entrance examination taken in January along with Creative Arts Scholarships with pupils with obvious talent and potential in Music/Drama or Art. These come into effect in the following September and run for five years until the GCSE examinations have been taken, as long as progress and conduct are satisfactory. Scholarship holders would normally be expected to finish their education in the school up to and including the Sixth Form. For the Sixth Form years Scholarships are offered for outstanding ability in a range of subjects and service to the school..

Scholarships are open to all candidates. Candidates applying for either must ensure that they have registered by October prior to the entrance examination. Awards will be notified along with the offer of a place and acceptance of awards must be received by the indicated date. Sixth Form Awards must be accepted by the end of December.

Other fees

Registration £50
A standard non-refundable Registration Fee is payable on registering your son/daughter.

Prep School Deposit £200
A refundable deposit is payable in January to confirm acceptance of a place for the following September. This amount is then deducted from the first terms’ fee.

Senior School Deposit £200
A refundable deposit is payable on acceptance of a place in the Senior School. This is reimbursed after your daughter has completed her education

Entrance Examination Fee £25

Hot Lunches
Available to Preparatory School only and payable termly in advance.
There is a snack bar for the Senior School

Extras
Additional items (such as school trips, instrument coaching, prep school after school care, etc) are charged for. The bursar is happy to supply further details on request.

Notes

A sibling discount applies in respect of the fees for a third child enrolled from Reception up. Fees are determined annually by the Governing Body early in the summer term. Fees are payable in advance on the first day of each term, although a year's fees may be paid by standing order through arrangement with the finance officer. Parents are reminded that a full term's notice is required if a child is to be withdrawn from the school. An administration fee is payable where a reminder needs to be sent out in respect of overdue fees.
