LVI visit to Paris: Future in Europe
This year the lower sixth took their annual trip to Paris, lugging our overly packed suitcases to the hotel we were staying in, perfectly positioned between a crepe stall and a shopping mall!. The weekend was based around a conference we were lucky enough to attend on the Saturday, where we had the chance to hear from highly inspirational speakers including Michelle Mone, founder of a multi-million pound lingerie company. The conference "The Future of Europe" was very motivational and opened our minds to new ideas and the future of Europe and the Euro. We also had the opportunity to put forward some questions to some popular political speakers such as Charles Kennedy and Stanley Johnson.
We took some time out to visit Paris’ famous tourist attractions. Of course, we could not visit Paris without going up the Eiffel tower, which had some spectacular views. We visited the Notre Dame Cathedral, Musee du Louvre, Sacre-Couer and Arc de Triomphe. They were all very amazing places and we are all pleased to have had the opportunity to visit them.
At the end of the trip we visited Euro Disney. We had great fun on the rides and attending the parades and shows. We even got to see Mickey Mouse. It was the perfect end to a perfect trip!
