On Wednesday 10^th October 2007 we will be holding an important meeting to discuss the challenges of the Post 16 educational curriculum and Sixth Form options. 

I would like all members of the fifth form to attend as this evening represents an important stage in your daughter's decision making on future subject choices.  Parents are warmly invited to join us on this occasion to be given more information about the sixth form curriculum and extra curricular programme.  We are also offering you the opportunity to discuss details with the subject teachers and current students.  A presentation will take place in the Marian Hall at 7.00 pm followed by the Options Fair in the Welsford Hall.

Dear Parents,

Sixth Form visit to London

As detailed in the calendar we are taking the Lower Sixth girls to London on Wednesday 17^th October. Our exact programme is still being finalised but the day will end with a visit to Queens Theatre to see Les Miserables (discounted ticket price £15.00)

We shall catch the 09.14 train from Alton Station. Please ensure your daughter is at the station by 09.05. I have a group ticket (£10.00 each) so we shall all have to board together. Girls may however get off the train at Farnham on the return journey.

We intend being in the Covent Garden area at lunch time for the girls to buy food or eat packed lunch. There will be time for a meal before the performance in the evening.

Dear Parents,

Next week, on Thursday 18^th October, the Preparatory School will be celebrating Harvest Festival.

All the children are invited to bring in a contribution of fruit, vegetables, homemade cakes, bread etc, to help celebrate this day. We will be having a Harvest Celebration in the Marian Hall at 9.30am, to which you are cordially invited.

During the afternoon, at 3.00pm, the children will be able to buy the produce brought in and the money raised will be sent to CAFOD to help alleviate the problems left by the severe flooding in Central Africa.

Re: Tea Time Concert - October 30^th at 4.00pm.

We are delighted to invite you to join us at our first informal concert of the year.

Our performers will be drawn from children who are just embarking upon the exciting journey of learning a musical instrument.

Please join us for tea in the Marian Hall at 4.00pm, prior to the concert. We hope to finish by 5.15pm. Children who are performing will be supervised in school until just before we start.
