PTFA

“All children need is a little help, a little hope, and somebody who believes in them.”

E M Johnson

The Parents, Teachers and Friends Association is your opportunity to get involved in school life, make new friends and raise money.

Successful education always involves a partnership between home and school. We are delighted that the PTFA is a very active group who work with tireless enthusiasm organising events that raise significant sums to enhance the life of the school.

An outdoor playground, two minibuses, a grand piano and the refurbishment of the Marian Hall have been funded from the efforts of the PTFA in recent years. Events have ranged from a Moulin Rouge-themed Ball to purchasing Northbrook wrapping paper to race and quiz nights.

Moulin Rouge

To further the link between home and school the PTFA introduced Class Representatives across all year groups. They are there to help at PTFA functions and co ordinate the collection of donations for certain events and mostly importantly they take it in turns to hold the weekly cake sale where monies raised go towards the chosen charity for that year group and the PTFA.
