Prep School Alpha Concert

Music scholars in the Prep school gave their first perfomance of the year  at  The Alpha Concert. For many of our children this was their first public performance giving them the opportunity to gain confidence in front of a friendly audience giving encouragement.

Parents and grandparents heard a variety of instruments including, piano, cello, violin, trumpet, cornet and flute. They also enjoyed hearing a variety of repertoire which ranged from traditional music such as Punch and Judy and, the Muffin Man to the jazzy Mr Cool and Struttin. The performance ended with a lively performance by the Preparatory Strings led by their teacher Mrs Nagle.

After the concert parents enjoyed refreshments in the Creative Arts foyer.
