A fishy time in Reception!
Reception children had a wonderful afternoon exploring fish!
Mrs Payne brought in some fresh fish for the children to investigate. They had a great time looking at their teeth, their gills & their scales. Some brave children also enjoyed dissecting the fish to see what the inside looked like.
After the budding pathologists had completed their autopsy, they used the fish to paint patterns with. Despite the pungent smell in the corridor a very good time was had by all and it gave a whole new meaning to the rhyme 1,2,3,4,5 Once I caught a fish alive!
