Glorious Mud!

Lower Sixth students had a sunny but very muddy team building weekend at Tregoyd House, in the Brecon Beacons, Wales.

This annual outdoor adventure was in association with Salesian College Sixth Form students and is an excellent opportunity for students from both schools to build friendships and strong working relationships, in preparation for their joint pilgrimage to Lourdes at Easter. Activities included Archery, Climbing, Abseiling, Raft Building, Canoeing, Hiking and this year, for something a little bit different, Rifle Shooting! The girls certainly seemed to have good focus, generally outperforming the boys on the shooting range!

All students had a great time and helping one another to the top of a rather steep hill up a very slippery and muddy narrow track was just one example from the weekend of what can be achieved with a little determination, strength of character and team work!
