Comedy Revue 2012
Alton Convent School, in association with Salesian College and More House School, held the annual Comedy Revue in aid of HCPT. As always there wasn’t a spare seat in the house as Sixth Form students from all three schools entertained with an amazing array of talent. Acts included wonderful singing, a version of The Apprentice, a wonderfully cryptic Olympic News and some oh-so embarrassing social situations from Miranda and Little Britain sketches to Darth Vader in of all places a Canteen!
Perhaps the funniest was the dancing act ‘Un, Deux, Trois’ and the very creative ‘Gangnam Style’ video put together by members of the UVI at Alton Convent, displaying the hidden talents of many members of the staff and pupils here at school and at Salesian College!
This ever-popular event raised in excess of £1400.00 for the HCPT to enable disabled children and their families to go on a pilgrimage to Lourdes next Easter.
