The Chamber Choir with Mrs Louise Douglas
The Senior School Chamber Choir recently participated in a charity concert hosted by Salesian College in Farnborough. This bi-annual event is led by the Hart Male Voice Choir and involves the chamber choirs from Salesian, Farnborough Hill and Alton Convent. The concert is a fundraiser for the Phyllis Tuckwell hospice in Farnham, where our former headmistress Sue Kirkham recently passed away.
The chamber choir sang beautifully – their rendition of Fix you by Cold Play was particularly poignant. The girls must also be thanked for giving up all their lunchtimes to learn the music in such a short time.
It was very fitting that this charity concert was in Mrs Kirkham’s memory.
