Sixth Form visit Goodwood Race Course
After all the stress and strain of exams, the Sixth Form shook of their studious approach to life with a staff and student night at the races! The Sixth Form Centre was a hive of activity as the girls prepared themselves for the evening, and at 4.30 they were off! All thoughts of a warm and balmy evening were washed away on the journey to Goodwood, as the skies opened and the staff and students considered the odds of the event being cancelled! But as we came over the downs the weather dried up, and although a bit chilly, the evening was at least dry.
Staff and girls alike were quickly choosing their horses and encouraging them on past the finish line. Mlle Pierre was on a winning streak, but the most fun was had on the last race – a choice between School Fees and Alice’s Dancer…..sadly for parents Alice’s Dancer stormed through!!
